Opleiding Engelse Taal en Cultuur, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Department of English Language and Culture, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

The English Language Workbench provides students, researchers and teachers with information on, and direct access to, a wide range of electronic resources related to English language learning and linguistic research. The resources have been chosen for their relevance to the teaching and research programs in the English Department at the VU.

The first three sections are devoted to different language skills. They contain resources which are indispensable right from the start of the BA and remain useful thru to the end of the MA programme, including both information resources, language practice material, and software used in various language courses.

The final two sections are concerned with electronic resources which you will need when investigating the English language. They will be useful right from the moment you follow courses in one or more of the department's specialist areas.
