Teaching with TPACK

In the spring of 2011 I followed on online module in which lecturers could learn how to effectively integrate technology into their teaching. During the module we got introduced to the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Model by Mishra & Koehler (2006). At the heart of the TPACK framework is the complex interplay of three primary forms of knowledge: Content (CK), Pedagogy (PK), and Technology (TK). In this session I will shortly present the model and how I have used it to design teaching/learning activities for the course Academisch Nederlands. I will show some examples of the use of technology in my course, such as a screencast program that students use to analyze their writing strategies.
